A tragic accident claimed the life of a six-year-old UKG student at a private school in Nayakan Gudem, Kusumanchi mandal of Khammam district, on Wednesday.

The boy, identified as Vihar, was returning to his classroom after using the toilet during the afternoon break when he slipped and fell. In the fall, the pencil he was carrying pierced his throat, leading to severe bleeding. School staff and local residents rushed him to the Kusumanchi Government Hospital in an 108 emergency ambulance, but doctors declared him brought dead, stating he had succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.

The sudden tragedy has left Vihar’s family shattered, with his parents and relatives inconsolable. Grief has engulfed Nayakan Gudem village as residents mourn the untimely loss of the young student.
